Level 1 Certification Aug 20 (Thurs.), 21 (Fri), 22(Sat) & 23 (Sun), four full days.  Full course is $1100 plus gst (*Save 5% by paying email transfer). The attached pictures are successful students. Students must have experience working with metal clay. Earn your Level 1 Certification in Art Clay Silver In Edmonton. Price is for Deposit of 400 towards full price of $1100 plus gst The 400 is partial cost of the Art Clay silver, settings, pearl, stones for the projects. All tools needed are supplied by my studio for you to use. Bring nothing but your enthusiasm and prepare for fun!

Senior Certifying Instructor, Carrie Steele has been teaching for over 19 years and will take you through the 7 projects.

1. Seashore pendant - mirror finish, fireable stone, texture & pearl

2. porcelain pendant

3. Flat band with syringe

4. Round ring with prong setting for non-fireable stones

5. Delicate syringe project with fireable stone

6. Hollow form earrings 

7. Leaf pendant

If for any reason the course is cancelled by us you will receive your full deposit back.

You will learn the various forms of metal clay. Lump clay form, syringe form and paste form. Pre-finishing clay with different techniques and tools will be explored. Firing of various projects both torch and kiln. After firing finishing techniques will be shown using inexpensive basic tools. You will receive an additional 10 % off Art Clay silver listed on my site. Plus 20% off gems, tools and most other items in our store.

I keep my classes small max. 4 so that you receive extra information like:

• marketing strategies
• business opportunities
• individualized direction for your unique business strategies
• techniques and advise for working metal clay into your vision
• finishing with rotary tools (not on these projects as certification projects are all done by hand).

*hours of class could get extended if project issues.. no charge but your complete dedication is appreciated.
